I just brought Gentle Naturals lotion for my itchy skin and I am wondering if anyone tried this? It’s for babies but I thought it would be safe to be used for my skin since it’s really sensitive. If not, are there any great products out there good for daily use for itchy/red/sensitive skin?
I have very sensitive skin when it comes to dry winter air and the sun, and Goldbond Medicated lotion helps a lot

I have tried it all. Its sad to say but alot of products do not work for all skin types. african american skin is wuite different. i dnt have acne yet i have a few scars left from ocassional pimples. they are dark marks that will not go away. i need a good fade cream that is safe for black skin to spot treat these uncomfortable spots. i wear makeup by bare minerals but without it i feel horrible tht my skin has theses ugly dark marks. i have a tanish brown complexion so the marks are noticably embarrassing. please tell me what fade creams are safe!! ive heard palmers has good products for fading darks marks. please someone help. ur opinions matter…o yea i just purchased murad lightening gel for dark marks…will this do?
yes palmers skin sucess fade cream that Works great but Remember just put it on the Scars NEVER Put all over the Face because that will give your complexion a Uneven tone also i heard Ambi Works great

I mean I really have oily skin. I feel if I don’t moisturize with my Aveeno Moisturizer with SPF 15 then I will damage my skin because it’s really sunny where I live. Also since I have been using this moisturizer I have been breaking out on my face like no other. I wonder if there are any suggestions to keep my skin soft (non oily/greasy) and still protected from the sun.
I have the same problem as you, so I stopped moisturizing my face in the morning. I only moisturize before I go to sleep, so the face has enough time to restore and suck up all the moisture. I personally don’t like Aveeno because it’s too oily and strong for me. I use Neutrogena’s moisturizer.

I recently moved to Georgia from a tropical climate and I have dry skin patches on my face and I do not know what else I can do to get rid of them…
I wash my face twice a day with a mild, but deep cleanser, use an oil-free SPF moisturizer during the day and a slightly heavier face lotion at night. I exfoliate once a week with a very fine face scrub and also use a Dead Sea facial peel about every 10 days to prevent breakouts (yes, it works).
But this last week I have noticed some dry, flaky skin on my face and I cant seem to get rid of it. My skin doesnt seem dry in these patches, but the flaky skin is obvious.
Does any one have any ideas about how I might get rid of this? Im at a loss as I have never lived in a winter climate before and never had a problem with dry skin.
Thanks…
I have one idea for you: In the shower, rub some Head and Shoulders shampoo on the dry spots. My dermatologist suggested this; she said it was like dandruff but on my face instead of my scalp. It did the trick, and it hasn’t come back, actually.
