I often suffer from spots and am wondering what your face and body skin care routine is, daily/weekly. I only really use moisturiser on my body every once in a while after bathing and only use face wipes on my face before I go to bed and when I wake up. I have never ue anything else and have never exfoliated or anything else except used nivea moisturiser. What are your routines.
Thanks x
It is very important to wash and moisturise your skin (face and body) every day – it’s just good basic care. It doesn’t have to be expensive! You can be as cheap as you like, as long as you choose products that suit your skin type.

I’ve heard all these things about skin care routines (clean, tone, moisturize) but I’m not sure what I should use. I have very sensitive skin and very natural products work best. My skin does not get very oily or have a lot of acne, so I don’t need anything extreme. Ideas? Thanks!

I’m currently using the clinique 3 step range but want to try something new. I don’t care about price ( I’ve been paying heaps for clinique already ) I want something that is of a good high quality, prevents breakouts and leaves your skin glowing. High hopes i know.
I don’t break out often but have smal breakouts on my forehead every now and then.
Any suggestions would be great.
Elle the best thing I did for my skin was try Arbonne! Hands down the bet thing I have used! I loved it sooo much I decided i could even sell it! it totally worth a try!

Does your skin care routine actually work for you? i have combination skin, ive tried clearasil, neutrogena, garnier, spectro, clean and clear, and biore, and nothing seems to make my skin extremely clear, i get the occasional pimple, but when i do its always gross lol but anyways tell me what works for you! thanks
I have the same skin problem, and recently I decided to switch from noxzema to clean and clear. I basically just bought the morning burst facial scrub and the acne prevention moisturizer. And you know what it works great. You just have to keep up with it everyday. I wash my face every morning and apply the moisturizer. It will get rid of all of your pimples by the second or third use. However, that may be for me because I don’t use the moisturizer the 2 to 3 times a day that is recommended. I also get lazy and stop use like for a day or two and I guarantee you will see pimples or at least feel them on your face.

this is my daily skin care routine for my face, but is it good?
So first I wash my face with Neutrogena foam acne wash. then I scrub with Neutrogena Daily Gentle Face Scrub for blackheads. Then I apply a toner, I use Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner, the lastly I moisturize with Neutrogena SPF 15 moisturizer. So does this sound like a good daily routine? is there something I can change, add? suggestions?
it totally depends on your skin type. if you have realllly oily skin, then that should be fine. but if you have normal or dry skin, i’d cut down a bit. too much cleansing/exfoliating can be very drying, which is okay if you have oily/acne-prone skin, but if you dry your skin too much, then that will actually cause MORE acne. when your skin is stripped of all it’s oil, it goes into an extreme ‘oil-producing mode’ to make up for all of the lost oil. so you’ll actually end up with more acne that way.everybody’s skin is different though, so it might not affect you the same way that it would affect another person. it sounds like a pretty good routine though, so if i were you, i’d stick with it for a couple of weeks to see what it does for your skin. if your skin is too dry after a while, then limit yourself to either the foam wash OR the scrub. goood luck! (:

I’m 15, and I’ve never done much in the way of my skin, except washing it lightly in the shower. However, lately it’s started to look slightly splotchy/uneven, and I’ve started to break out a bit. What routine should I follow each day to ensure that I have nice looking skin even as I get older?
Wash your face with plain water. Wash cloth with hot water then with cold water. dry it then use a little moisturizer on it . do this mornings and at nite you’ll see the differance within a week. Your skin gets oily because its dry, so it produces the oil that clogs your pores. so if you wash and moisturizer you’ll have health skin.

I like hearing about how others care for their skin and what their favorite products are. I personally love the Clinique 3-Step System. What is your daily facial routine?
Wake up in the morning, and exfoliate my skin with Clean and Clear blackhead scrub, and then I put some dear moisturiser on it that my dad got me, and that’s about it really? lol

I went for a skin analysis the other day and the people there gave me a cover up kind of thing for my acne and a moisturizer for the rest of my face. I’ve used this for a week and nothing has changed.

Hello,
I was wondering how to do a skin care routine. For example, step 1, step 2, step 3, and so on. I want to know if you use a facial cleanser first then Deep Exfoliating Scrub second then toner third then moisturizer. I don’t know which to use first and how to do it morning and night. Do I do the same for morning and night or do I do it differently. Please also recommended some drugstore skin care products. Thanks.
It would help to know your skin type.

whats your daily skin care routine, and do you have acne? does it work.
I’m a 27 years old male. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I want a good skin care routine that will treat my problems and keep them away, but I don’t want it to be expensive. I have blackheads on my forehead and nose and I have occasional pimples on my nose and right cheek. I’ve tried soooo many things, but nothing will work.
Here’s what I do, and I have healthy, clear skin that stays.
-Morning: Wash face with a gentle cleanser, pat dry. Apply Clean and Clear Morning Burst moisturizer, or something with SPF in it. Apply Lubriderm Seriously Sensitive Lotion in a thin layer all over. Finish with a thin layer of Benza Clin(it’s a prescription med.) in a thin layer all over. Don’t wear alot of makeup on you skin.
Night: Same thing.

I asked a question asking if i had a good skin care routine and a lot of people say that i shouldnt use all these chemicals on my skin or even care about my skin at 13.
I just use cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer and acne medication from the dermatologist for my back/chest acne.
it would be gross not to wash my face at all.
i also use spf 35 during the day
is that ok?
It’s AWESOME to develop good skin care routines at a young age. I am VERY impressed that you use an SPF. Since sun is the number one cause of age spots and early wrinkles, you are very smart. Not all chemicals are bad for us! Some of them protect us and maintain us. As you get into your 20s, 30s and beyond, your skin care routine will changes but it’s an excellent habit. And when you get older and you have amazing skin, people will say "I wish I took care of myself when I was younger." You go, girl!

I have couple blackheads here and there, along with some whiteheads. My skin type is a combination of dry, and oily. I’m tired of having acne, it’s so frustrating to deal with. My confidence level has dropped down a lot. I need help. So, what’s a good skin care routine to achieve smooth, healthy, and flawless skin?

I just started using this new skin care routine with la roche-posey two days ago and it seems like my face is breaking out more. My friend said it’s normal because the chemicals are bringing everything to the surface, but it’s really bothering me. If it’s normal, then I can wait it out, but I don’t want to be using something that is only making my face worse. Any advice?
yep. I just recently started a new routine with Clean & Clear and my face broke out SO MUCH… I got a huge pimple on my neck.. but it cleared up in 3 days instead of in a week, so I can tell things are working!
