I am the same color as the model Liya Kebede. What colors would flatter my skin tone? How can I even out my skin tone also? Do you know if Lemon juice is good at evening out a person’s skin tone?
Yellow clothing looks good on dark brown skin tones.

I have dry winter combination skin and around my eyes is really dry and tissue paper like. Does any one know of a product that will not further dry my skin around my eyes out?
I have tried some products that just make it worse.
I know a lady in her 50s and she smokes alot, she takes a vitamin E softgel, pokes a hole in it and puts it on her face. As a smoker she should have lines around her eyes and mouth but she dosent. She puts in on, leaves it for a hour or so, washes the extra off and shes good to go. It works for her!Maybe will for you.

I am a redhead and therefore the skin under my eyes is very transparent and sensitive. I often have redness and irritation, and I have chronic dark circles. I love Mary Kay concealer, but it’s expensive and I hate dealing with a consultant. The Jane brand covers well, but it burns and makes my skin chapped. Same with Cover Girl.
Are there any good ones that work on extremely sensitive skin and cost less than $7?
You state Mary Kay’s concealer is expensive. Compared to some others on the market, Mary Kay’s concealer will last you longer than most others.
The Mary Kay concealer will last you 8 months to a year, or more, if all you use it is under your eyes. The amount you need is a tiny amount, and I mean tiny, because it goes a long ways in the area you want it. It’s highly concentrated giving you more for so little. If you are using more than a tiny amount, you’re using too much.
I’m sorry you don’t like dealing with consultants. Makes me wonder if you have run into some pushy ones. Unfortunately, they are out there just like any other sales person for other products or services.
If you like the concealer and that’s all you want, I’ll sell it to you no questions asked. I don’t pester my customers so if you’re interested you can contact me at the address below, and if not that’s okay too.
Have a great day.

I’ve been using a compact powder lately. If I use a moisturizer and then use the foundation, it changes the color of the powder and doesn’t match my skin. If I don’t use a moisturizer, you can clearly see the powder on my skin.
Is there a liquid foundation that’s not too cakey and would work well for someone with oily skin? Perhaps a two-in-one moisturizer/foundation?
Side comment: Whats the best way to match the color of your skin to the foundation?
Well, first of all you probably do not want to use a mosturizer daily (unless your skin gets dry) because this can contribute to oilyness. You have over active sebacious glands which produce more oil as temperature rises and adding extra oil (which is found in several of the mosturizers your using) will only add to your problem. If you want a good foundation, try to go with a clinique product and use a brush to apply. They have really good foundations that are oil free. If you use just a little as a base and then add a brush of loose powder (also without oil) you should see a drastic change. Also, make sure you are cleaning your face every night with an oil free was like neutrogena or clean and clear. You can also try using astringent after your face has been cleaned at night. Going to the Clinique counter and having them match your skin tone to the foundation will be your best best. If you dont have the money, make sure youre reading the ingredients in the foundation. Anything with oil, don’t buy. This will only add to the existing oilyness. Good luck!

You know how the skin on the back of the hand can be lifted away from the underlying tissues, while this is harder to do with the skin on the palm of the hand. Why is each type of attachment important?
No idea, more room for insulation? Extra padding? Sorry lol
