Ladies…and gentlemen, what are some great skin care tips, tricks, and products you’d like to share?

For me, I’ve found that the panoxyl bar with 10% benzoyl peroxide is the best way to get rid of acne. I also recommend all guys with acne – shave with your acne cleanser as your shaving cream! I also use the Olay microdermabrasion kit, and wow after the 3rd time I’ve used it, I noticed a huge difference. Bare Escentuals is the only makeup I wear, and I love it!

I know the best trick in the world–don’t shower. I’m not kidding. The best thing for your skin is the oil it naturally produces. If you only shower maybe twice a week you’ll stay looking 20% younger than people your age who shower all the time. I shower more often than that but I don’t give a crap about my skin.

I use Clean & Clear Daily Wash
Then quicky wipe my face with an oxy pad
And finish off with a clean & clear day moisturizer.

Ok here’s mine: I had acne for years in my twenties and tried every acne solution etc and it did not work. I started using Mary Kay combination skin, and just went back to simple cleanse-tone-moisturize and my acne cleared up! (im not saying acne products dont work but they just didnt for me and i lost site of my actual routine) seems all the stressing and harsh stuff is what had me! Also always use a separate towel to dry your face to stop shampoos and shower gels with too much oils in them getting on your face.

This is good one, hope people keep sharing!

Well, i don’t have acne problems. But it’s because i wash my face a lot, drink a lot of water, never let my hair touch my face, and never touch my face with my hands. Because your hands and hair have oil that gives you acne. :)

ive found that your diet doesnt affect your skin. i went through a massive phase in my early teens where id drink up to 3 litres of water a day and id eat all sorts of foods that are supposed to be good for your skin. i still got pimples despite that, and now that i eat unhealthy foods as well my skin still hasnt changed. of course, drinking water and eating healthy foods will make you feel great and when you feel great you look great, but it doesnt have a direct impact on the condition of your skin.

i personally just take very good care of my skin (still working on taking care of what i eat and my body). i rarely get a chance to indulge in myself so i make my skincare my time to relax. im the only person my age who has a regular skincare routine including weekly microdermasions and facials, and it really shows. alot of people i know ask what i do to keep my skin so clear and fresh, and i just say i take care of myself. i still surprise people when i tell them i eat chocolate/oily foods/dont drink that much water.

Tip #1: In the long wrong skin care products with peroxide in them will dry out your skin. You should only use it when you direly need too. Try to find more natural alternatives so that your skin stays and looks younger.

Tip #2: Drink plenty of water. Keeping your body hydrated is good for all of your skin, but can also maintain that youthful glow.

Tip #3. Stay away from high pollution areas. All that smog in the air is hell on your skin and can age you dramatically.

Tip #4: Don’t use harsh chemical in your hair. It will dry out your follicles and break them. Try a weekly treatment with mayonnaise or avocados to add shine and moisture to your hair.

Tip #5: Eat right. It’s better for your skin, so you won’t have as many breakouts, and it will generally make you feel better.

I use all Olay products and also wear Bare Essentials make up. I used to use many different products but would still have issues with my skin. Since I’ve started using the simpler approach of just washing with warm water and then using Olay, my skin has been in great shape!
