Make up and Skin care tips?
does anyone have some good skin care tips? You know to get rid of blemishes? Also I wanted some cute make up tips. I’m only in middle school so I’m not wanting to put a load of make up on. Thanks.
Oh im in middle school too.
Tip #1 (for your eyes to POP):If you have green eyes, try out purple eye shadow shades such as lavender, violet, or amethyst. Keep the color sheer so it won’t look garish. For eyeliner, a deep plum is perfect.
If you have blue eyes, go for a warm copper, burnished gold, or rich brown eye shadow. Chocolate is an excellent shade choice for eyeliner.
If you have brown eyes, opt for cool blue or green eye shadow tones like mint, powder blue, or teal. A deep forest green is an ideal eyeliner shade.
Tip # 2 (Fullness eyelash uh mascara)
Step 1: WIGGLE.
Wipe excess mascara off the brush head, then place it under the very base of your lashes so it’s gently touching your eyelid. Now wiggle the bristles back and forth a few times. The wiggle motion thoroughly coats and separates your lash roots, making them look as thick as possible.
Step 2: SWOOP.
Slowly stroke the mascara from roots to ends. Let dry for a few seconds, then apply a second coat.
Step 3: TOP OFF.
Lightly swipe the very tips of your lashes a third time to maximize their length.
Tipd #3 (how to look good when you have a cold)
Double up on moisturizer
Sick skin means a dry, dull complexion. For an instant fix, Brown advises wearing two moisturizers at once. Apply a lightweight hydrating cream first, then layer on a rich balm. I like: Neutrogena Oil-Free Fresh Ultra-Light Moisturizer and Decléor Aromessence Essential Balm. This combination smoothes and plumps skin, leaving it luminous and fresh. Be sure to down plenty of water it will keep you and your skin hydrated.
Use concealer to hide a sleepless night
If you were up all night coughing, fake a restful night’s sleep by using a yellow-based concealer to neutralize any redness or darkness under your eyes. I like: Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Creamy Concealer Kit. Use a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your foundation then layer on a yellow-toned powder on top. If you are porcelain pale, use a white-toned powder—yellow tones look unnatural on super-pale skin
TIP #4!!! throwing out your old makeup gahh
lipstick if it 5 years you had that thing grr throw it away all the bacteria is growing if you dont use it try to tell your mom or anyone
foundation and sunscreen if it been 2 years throw it away
Mascaras should be tossed if it hasn’t been all used up after 3 months, and eyeliners after 6 months.
Tip #5 got it off of some website about acne
*A superficial pimple—the kind that is on the surface of your skin and can be tempting to pop—can be cured by using a spot treatment that contains the maximum amount of either salicylic acid (2%) or benzoyl peroxide (10%). Treat your pimple morning and night, and bring down any swelling by icing it for 10 minutes. These tactics should zap your zit within a day or two, and in the meantime you can keep it covered with a blemish-fighting concealor.
*If you’re cursed with a cystic pimple—those are the ones that are imbedded deep in your skin and can be painful when you press it—you’ll need to visit your dermatologist to see fast results. A quick cortisone injection will shrink that volcano down within a day.
TIP #6 remeber to clean your pillow case
Remember to rotate your pillow and change your pillow case regularly to avoid exposing your face to dirt and bacteria every night.
You should also avoid using fabric softener sheets in the dryer which contain chemicals and oils that can irritate sensitive skin.

Try Neutrogena’s creme blemish wash. It works great without drying out your skin. As for make up, try a light colored eye shadow with (curling) mascara. On days you want to look extra cute, add eyeliner to your upper lid. Hope this helps!

the secret to getting rid of blemishes is good skin care:
morning:
-exfoliating, medicated acne wash
-toner/astringent (medicated)
-moisturizer
evening :
- cream face wash
- acne spot treatment
-moisturizer
u can get a lot of this stuff at skin id.com, drug store or sephora. the secret to makeup is to make sure youdon’t need a lot due to a good skin care routine. if u don’t do it every day, you are going to get bad skin, that’s the bottom line. i would use a nice lip gloss and some great mascara to make ur eyes stand out
