What is a good skin cream for dry skin around the eyes?

I have dry winter combination skin and around my eyes is really dry and tissue paper like. Does any one know of a product that will not further dry my skin around my eyes out?
I have tried some products that just make it worse.
I know a lady in her 50s and she smokes alot, she takes a vitamin E softgel, pokes a hole in it and puts it on her face. As a smoker she should have lines around her eyes and mouth but she dosent. She puts in on, leaves it for a hour or so, washes the extra off and shes good to go. It works for her!Maybe will for you.
