What is your face/skin care routine?
I often suffer from spots and am wondering what your face and body skin care routine is, daily/weekly. I only really use moisturiser on my body every once in a while after bathing and only use face wipes on my face before I go to bed and when I wake up. I have never ue anything else and have never exfoliated or anything else except used nivea moisturiser. What are your routines.
Thanks x
It is very important to wash and moisturise your skin (face and body) every day – it’s just good basic care. It doesn’t have to be expensive! You can be as cheap as you like, as long as you choose products that suit your skin type.
Morning:
Wash my face with Simple foaming face wash
Moisturise with E45 day cream
Shower and moisturise my body with inexpensive everyday body lotion
In the evening I wash my face with Simple and use E45 night cream. but sometimes I’m too lazy to wash my face and use simple face wipes instead!
I also use a face scrub twice a week, and a face mask once a week.
And I also use a body scrub now and then, to keep my skin smooth and glowy!

I cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily and have done for about 3 years (I’m 15). I suffer from spots sometimes, but I think they’d be a whole lot worse if I didn’t look after my face.
As for my body, I tend to neglect it a bit… I really should moisturise more often!

I cleanse, tone and moisturise morning and night with an all natural skin care range called Akin. Knowing that im not putting bad stuff onto my skin makes me feel really good about using it! And it works great too. For my body i use a milk body wash and mositurise with Palmers Cocoa Butter everyday. That stuff is the greatest!. Hope that helps

Go to the doctor and ask for Zineryt – a topical antibiotic
Worked brilliantly for me and stops breakouts.
Washing your face daily will help – but antibiotics are a more effective solution for chronic acne

I am a makeup artist and I’ve noticed that the best way for great makeup is great skin. I love the Dermalogica line. It is especially great for people who want to target problems because they have so many products that you can customize your own routine and get the most perfect skin you could ever imagine. Here’s what I do:
Morning:
- Cleanse with Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser
- Tone with Dermalogica Protection Spray
- Treat with Cauldalie Radiance Serum
- Moisturize with Dermalogica Barrier Repair and Sheer Tint
Night:
- Cleanse with Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser
- Tone with Dermalogica Protection Spray
- Treat with Cauldalie Radiance Serum
- Moisturize with Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream
Once a Week:
- Exfoliate with skin prep scrub (I generally use 2-3 time a week)
- Sit under a facial steamer for 15 minutes
- Treat and pamper my skin with Dermalogica Multi-Vitamin Power Recovery Mask
I also try to eat healthy and stay active. I get compliments on my skin all the time. People are amazed that I’m not wearing any kind of makeup on my face. It’s best to start good habits now to treat the problems that you do have and halp prevent problems that you may have tomorrow.

-Cleanse with clean and clear deep cleansing lotion
-Tone with a very cheap vitamin E toner, just to get rid of the rest of the cleanser
-moisturise with nivea soft
I do this morning and night. I also put my nivea on sometimes mid afternoon if my skin is feeling dull and dry.
when i get some spots i facial scrub with tea tree, when i can be bothered, but other times i find myself cleanising about three times a day.
I also have a tea tree facial peel mask which i use every now and then when skin gets bad due to time of the month and stuff!
