Whats your skin care routine? And what products do you use?

Does your skin care routine actually work for you? i have combination skin, ive tried clearasil, neutrogena, garnier, spectro, clean and clear, and biore, and nothing seems to make my skin extremely clear, i get the occasional pimple, but when i do its always gross lol but anyways tell me what works for you! thanks :)

I have the same skin problem, and recently I decided to switch from noxzema to clean and clear. I basically just bought the morning burst facial scrub and the acne prevention moisturizer. And you know what it works great. You just have to keep up with it everyday. I wash my face every morning and apply the moisturizer. It will get rid of all of your pimples by the second or third use. However, that may be for me because I don’t use the moisturizer the 2 to 3 times a day that is recommended. I also get lazy and stop use like for a day or two and I guarantee you will see pimples or at least feel them on your face.

It works great, and I tried many different products before I got to this one. It’s the only one that gave me these results.

If you want you could just buy the clean and clear 2 in 1 Advantage acne prevention kit, but I settled for a simple facial scrub, clean and clear morning burst facial scrub, and the 2 in 1 acne prevention moisturizer.

Also:

Clean and Clear morning burst = under $ 5.00
Acne prevention moisturizer = under $ 5.00

I bought mine at Walmart, but you should be able to find the same products at Walgreens.

I use Proactiv! I wash my face with the cleanser then i use the toner then the mask. They work wonders on my skin! Then I just apply foundation.

There is a gadget in the makeup and skin cleanser isle that heats up and kills the bacteria in a pimple that is about to pop up. I have not personally invested in it or used it but I believe it works. It makes logical sense that it would kill the bacteria that causes the breakout.

Old fashioned paste toothpaste dabbed on a pimple overnight also dries out a pimple as well as the other expensive topical products.

You still have to continue your normal cleansing routine.

For my combination skin this works well:
I like the Clean & Clear that is a cream cleanser.
Then I use a sun block that doesn’t block pores on my face only – I pat tiny dabs under the under eye area and dabs on the neck area being careful not to stretch the skin.
Then I use a large natural brush to dab loose face powder on to reduce the shine of the sun block. I’m not a teen anymore but a pimple on my face still precedes my "Monthly Friend".
